The Surrey LINK card is available to young people aged 20 and under who live in Surrey and provides 50% off adult fares on single and return bus journeys that start and/or finish in Surrey. For many young people, this works out at the equivalent of a child fare, helping to make travel more affordable throughout the academic year.
Whether travelling to school, college, university, an apprenticeship, part-time job or social activities, the card can help families reduce the cost of regular bus travel. The card is free to apply for. Parents, guardians and carers can apply on behalf of children under 16, while young people aged 16 and over can submit their own application. The card can be used on eligible bus services across Surrey, although it is not valid on Transport for London (TfL) bus routes. Find out more and apply for a Surrey LINK card – search ‘Surrey LINK care’ on the Surrey CC website.
